Cate’s Musings

Well, it seems I’ve joined the ranks of homeowners.  As of today, I officially own the house you see above.  What do you know! The house is in the lovely neighborhood of Silver Lake and I really couldn’t be happier.  It’s a cute little 2 bedroom that was pitched as a ‘California cottage’.  I’ve got a basement, a nice back yard with a covered patio, and the attic is big enough to eventually turn into a bedroom.

So blog posts, if and when they occur, will now probably mostly be about my renovation projects.  There’s nothing huge that needs to be done to the house, but there’s plenty that I want to do!  First objective:  get the place in order for the housewarming party.  Because what’s the point of homeownership if not to have a swank party pad??
