Oh, they are beautiful to look at, and it’s all well and fine as long as some one comes and sweeps up the fallen blooms.

But, if those tired blossoms are left to sit and ferment in small stagnant pools along your street gutters you will soon smell the putrencense which wafts through the air like the south end of a northbound elephant and gave the Jacarandas the unofficial name of “Dirty Circus Trees”!

Is the value worth the cost?

Lauren: I haven’t made a mux yet, but I think I got “cate” as my screen name.

Converting to mp3 is easy if you ripped the songs from a CD:
1.Make a play list with the tracks you want to convert.
2.Select all the tracks then go to the ‘advanced’ menu and select ‘convert selection to mp3″. The files will convert – so you’ll have duplicate versions of the same songs in your iTunes but you can delete them once you’re done with them.

If the files were downloaded from iTunes and have DRM copy protection, the easiest way is to burn them to CD and then re-import them into iTunes with your import settings set to mp3. Those can be changed by going into your iTunes Preferences, click on the ‘advanced’ tab, and then the ‘importing’ tab.

Oh my gosh, I love muxtape. But I haven’t made one yet. How do I get my itune mp4 downloads into mp3 format? Am I a dork for not knowing this? What’s your tape name?

Bummer cate! The logic board is really important, as you can tell, it’s basically what makes the thing go. Mine went out on my ibook a year ago, and that’s what prompted me to upgrade to the macbook — but a logic is an easy fix.
